Ami Ogilby - Flautist

Ami began playing flute at the age of 10. By age 15 she had achieved grade 8 with Distinction and at 18 was awarded the Associate of Trinity College London Recital Diploma also with Distinction. She was twice finalist in the N.I Young Musician of the Year 

Ami graduated from the University of Ulster with a Bachelor of Music Degree and now has a career as a Woodwind Instrumental Tutor and Free-lance Musician 

She has toured France and Germany with the North Eastern Youth Orchestra (where she met Lisa as a fellow flautist) and is currently a member of Whitehead Community Orchestra. 

Ami also enjoys singing, and with Lisa was a member of University of Ulster Choir as well as Ulster Youth Choir. She is currently a member of Lagan Camerata. 

Ami has experience in both ensemble and solo performances performing in venues such as the Waterfront Hall, Royal Courts of Justice, St. Anne’s Cathedral and the Royal Albert Hall  

She has performed as a guest soloist for community choirs Larne Choral Society, Lagan Camerata, Una Voce and more 

Ami loves to arrange music that makes your song choices unique. Adding a spin to a couples favourite songs really adds a personal touch to your special day
